Sunday 13th July 2014 saw David taking his last service at St. Andrew’s Monkseaton where he has been minister since September 2009.
During this time he has provided the congregation with stimulating and interesting services as well as holding much appreciated Bible Study classes.
The service was followed by an informal church lunch for 120 people during which David was presented with a bottle of malt whisky and a cheque, his wife Pat receiving an arrangement of flowers.
