LET NO ONE DESPISE YOUR YOUTH…
DO NOT NEGLECT THE GIFT THAT IS IN YOU.

1 Timothy 4.12,14

Celebrating Young People Square Wordle Red

Being a young person can be tough. All adults have had to struggle through the many challenges that take place – physically, emotionally, and spiritually – through the change from childhood to adulthood.

The challenges of exams at school, the joys and difficulties of relationships with friends and family, and the daunting prospect of going to university or starting work affect everyone on this journey.

But there is much to celebrate too. During these formative years we develop our understanding of ourselves, the world around, and deepen our spirituality. We find and nurture new skills and talents and we prepare to become an active citizen in the world.

As a Church we can help to celebrate these skills, find avenues to explore them further and opportunities to talk about faith and spirituality.

We can provide opportunities in worship to celebrate the special times on the journey from childhood to adulthood.

We can offer blessing to those going to university, or beginning a new course or job, or those moving into their first home.

We can offer a listening ear and support to those struggling with the turmoil of this time, and offer spiritual encouragement and guidance to explore how God is speaking.

To talk about any of this, contact us and we will be happy to talk about the possibilities.
