We are pleased to announce that our service on Sunday 26th April will be led by Matthew Prevett, who has applied to fill the current ministerial vacancy at St. Andrews.
Matthew is a ministerial student at Westminster College, Cambridge, who, having already completed his initial ministerial training in 2012, is currently in the final stage of a PhD on the topic of authority within the URC. Previously Matthew gained a Bachelor’s degree in music at Durham University and has also spent time on ministerial placement in various location ranging from down-town Manhattan to rural Suffolk.
In addition to Matthew leading us in worship on Sunday he will also be spending time with us on Saturday 25th April, when we will be having our Table Top sale in the morning and early afternoon, an Elder’s meeting mid-afternoon and a social evening with entertainment.
We will be having an extraordinary Church Meeting following worship on Sunday 3rd May at which Church members will be discussing, praying for God’s guidance and then voting on whether to call Matthew to become our new Minister.
