Join us for our Lent Bible study services and course based on Les Miserables.
The course, which references the 2012 award winning film, pulls together characters and themes in the story with biblical references, encouraging us to explore themes such as love, grace, justice, redemption and salvation. As we move through the weeks of Lent, we will watch and discuss different sections of the story, and relate our discussions to our own personal journeys as followers of Christ.
The services feature readings, prayer and music, and are followed by soup and a bun for lunch.
Though based on the same themes, the study course and the services stand alone from each other, so feel free to join us for either or all.
Services: Friday 20th February — Friday 27th March, 12.30pm — 1pm followed by soup and a bun.
Study Group: Tuesday 24th February — Tuesday 31st March, 7pm — 9pm (First session 7pm — 10pm to allow time to watch the entire film)
Please contact Lucy Cooke on 01670 354834 or by email at if you are intending to come along to the study meetings, or if you would like further details.
