Stations of the Cross – follow-up

Friends,

It has been pointed out to me (and on reflection I definitely see it myself too) that a poor choice of phrase in this morning’s Stations of the Cross email has not portrayed my belief in the correct way.

The core of what I was trying to get across this morning was “The different ways in which we feel and react to things are natural”. Even when those feelings and reactions change day-to-day, year-to-year, or are different from everybody else’s. All of what I said in the fourth paragraph of this morning’s email can be summed up, I think, in that sentence above.

God walks alongside us in our day-to-day lives, no matter how we are feeling. Sometimes, however, it can be hard to recognise God in these difficult times. Please do not see how you are feeling as a failure. It is natural. Please do not keep it bottled up, speak to someone.

With every blessing,

Dan
