Worship Notes
Dear Friends,
Just a quick note to say that the Worship Notes for August have now been made available on the URC website here. September’s should appear in the next couple of weeks.
We’ve also been building up the Worship Notes Archive here so that these notes can be referred to as we journey through the three year cycle of readings offered us by the Lectionary.
In August we have notes from myself, Peter Ranscombe, Angela Rigby, and Roo Stewart. Peter offers a “Christmas in August” service to help focus on the Christmas narratives away from the hustle and bustle of the season – there is also an alternative focused on the Lectionary readings if Christmas in August doesn’t appeal. Roo has created a service with a Greenbelt feel as, on that Sunday, the URC will have a service at the Greenbelt festival.
